The train stopped here to cut out the helper locomotive that was used
over Stampede Pass from CleElum, WA .

These 5 photos were taken at the King Street Station in
Seattle, WA
The train stopped here and spent the night, continuing to Vancouver, BC,
Canada the following morning. Many railfans turned out to photograph the locomotive
and watch the crew as they serviced and refueled it. |

Kent, WA at the 212th ST crossing. Returning to
Portland after the trip to Vancouver, BC.
